Recovering Function’s tiered Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) curriculum allows you to develop skills at your own pace by progressively alternating each tier’s course work with the application of learned skills on the job.
Built upon the core principles of NDT the RPSFâ„¢ is a step by step framework of problem-solving strategies and manual cues for assessing potential and individualizing functional outcomes when implementing interventions for adult clients with hemiplegia.
Tiered Curriculum webinars and mentoring sessions allow therapists and assistants to continue building skills between courses as well as request help with clients they are currently treating at work.
Recovering Function’s tiered Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) curriculum allows you to develop skills at your own pace by progressively alternating each tier’s course work with the application of learned skills on the job. In addition, by registering therapists for specific tiers, your rehabilitation team can achieve its target skills profile of introductory, advanced, and certified skills and establish a peer mentoring structure that is both effective and cost efficient. You can choose either pay as you go or package discount registration.
To support the demonstration of competency required for clinical ladders, occupational and physical therapists who have completed Tier-C and passed Recovering Function’s certification examination for therapists will receive a certificate from Recovering Function bearing RPSFCCM in NDT (RPSF certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment).
Assistants who have completed Tier-C and passed Recovering Function’s certification examination for assistants will receive a certificate from Recovering Function bearing RPSFCACM in NDT (RPSF certified assistant in Neuro-Developmental Treatment).
Rehabilitation teams applying for stroke certification can request a certificate from Recovering Function that authenticates the team’s Tier-I, Tier-A, and Tier-C course completions for both therapists and assistants.
Recovering Function recommends a target team skills profile of at least 50/30/20 % (Tier-I, Tier-A, Tier-C) for both therapists and assistants on rehabilitation teams working with adult clients with hemiplegia to maintain an effective peer mentoring structure.
